Contributions to Partners in Health are made in honor of Dreffus “Tatou” Alriche and all loved ones lost or impacted by the devastating earthquake that flattened much of Port-au-Prince and several nearby cities in 2010.
AFRICA DIASPORA PARTNERSHIP FOR EMPOWERMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
The Africa Diaspora Partnership for Empowerment and Development (ADPED) is a not-for profit organization with membership from people of all nationalities, creed, and gender, who are bound together by a strong commitment to empowering people of Africa and the Diaspora to achieve community-led, self-reliant, sustainable livelihood and development.
NVision is a movement that is “committed to the development of Native youth leadership and traditional and contemporary expressions of art, culture, education, and media from a Native core and perspective.”
Black Veterans for Social Justice (BVSJ) helps veterans who in turn help the community by providing “tender care and a listening ear to all veterans and community residents who seek to be a productive part of society.” Based in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, BVSJ has been providing vital services to our heroes through their Veterans Service Center, Security Division and Housing Division since 1979.
